How the feed updates

The page checks for new data every 10 seconds. The countdown shows when the next check is due; the measurement time shows when the data was recorded.

Both activity counters cover the rolling past 24 hours. Each newly observed store is counted once.

Activity totals appear when a verified source is available. Until then, the page shows that the count is not available yet.

If a check fails, the last confirmed total stays visible. Activity outside the rolling window is never shown as a current count.

What is a blip?

A blip is one individual discovery or change about a company. A new store found is one blip. Each integration discovered on that store is another blip.

For example, a new store with five integrations produces six blips. Adding an app later is one blip, and removing an app is one blip. Repeated unchanged observations do not add blips.

Credits give you access to a company and its available blips. Blips describe the company changes; credits are the access currency.
